Our Mission

The mission of Living Womb Ceremonies is to transform the lives of girls and women as they transition through each phase of the feminine experience.

We celebrate each of those phases, and help to support additional transformations in a woman's life through direct experience and ceremonial celebrations.

We do this by addressing barriers to healthy self concepts, such as:

  • racism,
  • sexism,
  • classism,
  • abuse and trauma,
  • miseducation,
  • and poverty.

As well as celebrating the natural phases of life - birth, coming of age, first menstruation, committment to love, menapause, and death.
